Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, maintain, and enhance enterprise-scale mainframe applications.
- Develop and maintain programs using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, and VSAM.
- Work with XML, SAS applications, and TIBCO integrations for enterprise data processing.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and system integration activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve application defects promptly.
Requirements
- Strong experience with COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2 development.
- Hands-on expertise with IMS DB/DC, VSAM, TSO, and host/mainframe environments.
- Experience designing and developing complex mainframe applications.
- Proficiency with XML and enterprise data integration solutions.
- Knowledge of SAS and SAS-based applications in a mainframe ecosystem.
- Experience with mainframe automation testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with TIBCO integration technologies and middleware platforms.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps environments and knowledge of application modernization or legacy system migration are preferred.
