Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Kubernetes, and similar tools.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes with software engineering and data science teams.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and automated recovery mechanisms for platform reliability and incident response.
- Own cloud security, access management, permissions governance, and SIEM-related processes.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor colleagues, and support complex infrastructure incidents.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native, GitOps, and DevOps practices while contributing to multi-cloud capabilities including Azure.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in the field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a similar infrastructure-focused role.
- Proven track record with AWS cloud services, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, platform reliability, monitoring, and observability.
- Knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, and operational practices for highly available systems.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure or multi-cloud experience, GitOps knowledge, SIEM and security monitoring experience, and certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
- Collaborative, proactive communication, problem-solving, ownership, mentoring, and cross-functional teamwork skills are expected.
