Base Salary

$79k - $131k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build customer relationships and support account-team sales strategies for Esri software and solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in state and local government and a technical expert in ArcGIS.
  • Craft and propose GIS solutions aligned with customer business challenges and organizational needs.
  • Present technical demonstrations and presentations to technical and non-technical customers, including at conferences and trade shows.
  • Provide best practices for the use, deployment, and administration of Esri technology.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in or supporting state or local government.
  • Understanding of ArcGIS in an IT context, including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing.
  • Experience in technical consulting, conceptual solution design, sales and business development processes, geodatabases, and DBMS technology.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, listening, troubleshooting, and client-issue resolution skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
  • Preferred qualifications include systems integration with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms; real-time information stream integration; AI/ML concepts; Python or JavaScript; and a master’s degree.
