Responsibilities

Design and evolve robust cloud-native services and platforms with end-to-end ownership from ideation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
Influence technical direction across multiple teams by identifying architectural pain points and improving engineering standards.
Partner with Product, Security, DevOps, and engineering leaders to align technical roadmaps with business priorities.
Own ambiguous, open-ended technical problems and guide teams through architectural and implementation tradeoffs.
Establish best practices for AI governance, observability, privacy, and operational controls.
Mentor engineers across teams and support hiring, onboarding, delivery quality, and practical AI adoption.
Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and tooling to improve developer productivity, system performance, and cost efficiency.
Simplify architectures, clarify system boundaries, and reduce technical and operational complexity.

At least 7 years of software development experience.
Strong software design and coding fundamentals, primarily in TypeScript, with relevant Python experience.
Significant experience building on AWS and owning services across the software lifecycle.
Experience with cloud-native platform engineering, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, observability, and security best practices.
Meaningful experience with applied AI and agentic solutions, including model capabilities and tradeoffs, tool orchestration, retrieval-augmented patterns, responsible AI, and cost-aware design.
Ability to communicate complex technical and AI concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
