Responsibilities
- Implement LangGraph agentic workflows on AWS AgentCore, including state graphs, tool orchestration, conditional routing, checkpointing, and error recovery.
- Build custom RAG pipelines covering chunking, embeddings, vector retrieval, and accuracy evaluation.
- Deliver rapid proofs of concept and translate architecture plans into working implementations with the Architect and Lead.
- Write and maintain production-quality Python services using FastAPI and Pydantic with robust testing and error handling.
- Use Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Cline to accelerate development while reviewing, fixing, and owning generated code.
- Build low-code automations with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate when appropriate.
- Own production components by monitoring, debugging, optimizing, and iterating on them.
- Independently debug agent failures involving context, tools, hallucinations, and retrieval degradation.
- Mentor Associate Developers through code reviews and pair programming.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of total professional experience, including 1–2 years of GenAI/LLM experience.
- 6–12 months of LangGraph experience and two to three projects with working code.
- Strong LangGraph knowledge covering state graphs, conditional routing, and checkpointing.
- Solid foundational knowledge of LangChain chains, memory, and custom tools.
- Hands-on AWS AgentCore experience is preferred, with strong LangGraph experience accepted as a ramp path; runtime, memory, and Tools Gateway experience are relevant.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock model invocation, knowledge bases, and guardrails.
- SQL proficiency and familiarity with NL-to-SQL and LLM-powered query and insight patterns; Snowflake is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of Pinecone, ChromaDB, OpenSearch, or FAISS.
- Production-quality Python experience including type hints, async/await, FastAPI, and Pydantic.
- Understanding of trade-offs among OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and Llama models.
- Experience with Copilot Studio and Power Automate and the ability to assess Pro Code versus Low Code solutions.
- Familiarity with MCP and A2A server/client implementation or protocol concepts.
- Experience with enterprise integrations such as SAP HANA and Salesforce connectors.
- Knowledge of document intelligence, OCR, and layout-aware chunking.
- Experience with RAGAS, Promptfoo, or DeepEval.
- AWS, GCP, or Azure AI/ML certifications are preferred.
