Responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to a high-performing backend project in the banking industry.
- Build and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, JPA, and related architecture patterns.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Participate in software design, architecture, API development, and testing activities.
- Participate in a mandatory rotating on-call schedule, approximately one seven-day week every three to four months, to resolve critical incidents.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced expertise in J2EE, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka.
- Experience with Java 8 or later, microservices architecture, functional programming, JPA, and software design and architecture patterns.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies including TDD or BDD.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
- Basic knowledge of API design and specification using OpenAPI 3/OAS3 is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of reactive programming is highly valued.
