Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data infrastructure for nutrition and wellbeing features.
- Build and support data systems and deployment/testing infrastructure connecting data pipelines with AI-powered health and coaching capabilities.
- Partner with engineers, product managers, UX designers, clinical specialists, and Technical Program Managers to develop technical designs and user-friendly features.
- Use AI-assisted developer tools for coding, debugging, test generation, and code understanding while maintaining software reliability and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code; maintain unit and integration test suites; and monitor production systems for performance and availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems focused on scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability.
- Experience developing and designing APIs.
- Experience with computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Preferred: experience developing nutrition, fitness, health technology, or wellness applications.
- Preferred: experience deploying, testing, and serving artificial intelligence capabilities and data services.
- Preferred: experience using artificial intelligence development tools for test automation, debugging, and code synthesis.
Benefits
- US base salary is $147000 - $210000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
