Staff Software Engineer - iOS
Capital OneResponsibilities
- Own and lead delivery of major mobile components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and architects.
- Work with a dynamic mobile team throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across the development toolchain.
- Improve software engineering practices and contribute expertise on the impact of evolving technology on the domain.
- Provide mentorship to junior, intermediate, and senior mobile associates.
- Provide guidance to technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on development experience building native iOS applications with Swift and SwiftUI.
- At least 6 years of experience in application design, technical architecture and design, and development.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior and intermediate associates and guiding technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred: a bachelor’s, master’s, or diploma in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- Preferred: 8 or more years leading the full software development lifecycle.
- Preferred: exposure to AWS or other cloud products, open source frameworks, and agile environments.
