Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with other engineers to ship backend code.
- Build and maintain documentation for a growing remote organization.
- Solve complex scaling problems involving real-world money movement, sensitive financial data, and novel financial mechanics.
- Build, maintain, and grow software products and services for OnePay customers and internal operations.
- Collaborate with product, design, data, customer support, operations, and compliance teams.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of professional experience building, shipping, and growing non-trivial products and services.
- Strong software engineering craftsmanship, communication, collaboration, and ownership.
- Ability to solve complex problems at scale and learn quickly.
- Passion for quality across code, communication, and culture.
- Familiarity with modern software engineering practices; experience with OnePay’s exact stack is not required.
