Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-performance Web APIs, microservices, event-driven components, and agentic AI solutions.
- Define platform-level blueprints, architectural patterns, cloud strategy, and long-term technical direction with Architecture teams.
- Make high-impact architectural decisions and guide teams toward scalable and secure solutions.
- Drive engineering excellence through code quality standards, performance optimization, best-practice adoption, and deep-dive code reviews.
- Design and build AI agents for development, testing, performance analysis, SAST/DAST automation, and workflow optimization.
- Lead adoption of AI and agentic workflows across development, QA, and DevOps, demonstrating measurable engineering value.
- Lead complex development efforts across multiple microservices and disconnected architectures.
- Perform performance tuning, architectural assessments, SQL optimization, and cloud scalability work.
- Mentor senior developers and guide teams in advanced engineering practices, design patterns, and systems thinking.
- Ensure quality delivery across design, development, testing, deployment, and observability.
- Advise product, architecture, and leadership teams on technical and strategic technology decisions.
- Communicate complex technical and AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10–14+ years of relevant software engineering experience, ideally in financial services or KYC/AML, or an equivalent combination of education and expertise.
- Expertise in C#, .NET Core, Web API, LINQ, Entity Framework, MVC, and microservice architectures.
- Strong full-stack capability, with JavaScript, React, or Angular preferred.
- Advanced SQL performance tuning experience with complex, multi-tier systems.
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, architectural decision-making, and distributed cloud-native systems.
- Strong Azure experience, including Function Apps, API Management, App Services, and DevOps pipelines.
- Experience designing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, agentic AI SDLC pipelines and patterns, and building AI agents for development, QA, performance testing, and security automation.
- Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and modern AI/ML frameworks.
- Experience with Copilot, Claude, Cursor, and LangChain for production-grade AI systems.
- Proven ability to mentor senior engineers, uplift team capability, and influence engineering adoption and strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field preferred.
