Responsibilities
- Build and evolve clearing and settlement services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Design and operate distributed, event-driven systems and APIs.
- Develop and operate AWS cloud-native applications using containerized ECS services and Lambda workloads.
- Create infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and monitoring practices.
- Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code using automated testing.
- Own software delivery from idea through production while improving reliability, automation, quality, and developer experience.
- Translate complex financial business processes into clear software models using Domain-Driven Design.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree or comparable qualification in computer science, engineering, sciences, or a related field.
- Strong experience building backend services with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience designing and operating distributed, event-driven systems and APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud-native development, especially containerized and serverless workloads.
- Confidence with automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and production observability.
- Quality and security mindset with attention to reliability, maintainability, and operational ownership.
- Interest in complex financial workflows or willingness to learn them quickly.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic approach.
