Responsibilities
- Design and maintain security controls across multi-cloud environments and Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop secure-by-default patterns for infrastructure-as-code and container orchestration platforms.
- Write code in Go to automate security processes and enforce guardrails.
- Conduct security reviews of cloud architecture and data platforms to identify vulnerabilities.
- Partner with engineering teams to embed security into platform service design and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives with business goals.
- Evaluate security needs during mergers and acquisitions and integrate acquired companies into secure frameworks.
- Influence senior leaders on technical decisions and risk management strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement of security policies and incident response automations.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in infrastructure security with expertise in AWS and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in writing Go for automation and deploying infrastructure with Terraform.
- Expertise in securing modern cloud and containerized platform technologies.
- Proven ability to partner with engineering and business teams to align security initiatives.
- Experience influencing senior leaders on technical decisions and risk tradeoffs.
- An execution-focused approach capable of navigating ambiguity.
- A commitment to advancing an open financial system.
