Responsibilities
- Build secure, privacy-focused native Android applications.
- Work on Android Functional Team projects such as Privacy Pro support, autofill improvements, and phishing and malware protection.
- Use Kotlin, Maestro, and Graphite in Android development.
- Apply knowledge of mobile architecture, threading, memory management, data structures, and algorithms.
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to develop effective UX solutions with cross-functional partners.
- Own projects end to end from scoping and execution through postmortem.
- Communicate decisions clearly and take initiative to move projects forward.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Android engineering experience.
- Experience working on at least two large native Android applications.
- Solid Kotlin programming experience.
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture concepts, threading, and memory management.
- Fundamental understanding of complex data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and use quantitative and qualitative data to develop UX solutions.
- Strong communication, creative problem-solving, initiative, and judgment about when to involve others.
- Successful completion of a background check.
