Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Java microservices and REST APIs.
- Build responsive front-end features and own them alongside backend functionality.
- Develop agentic AI features, including RAG pipelines and MCP-based integrations for connecting LLMs with enterprise data, tools, and services.
- Apply few-shot, one-shot, and chain-of-thought prompt engineering techniques in daily development.
- Make architecture and design decisions balancing scale, cost, and maintainability.
- Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to deliver working software.
- Help establish engineering standards and mentor other developers.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience designing and building microservices with Spring Boot or an equivalent framework.
- Experience building clean, secure, and maintainable RESTful APIs.
- Front-end experience with Angular or React and the ability to build responsive user interfaces.
- Experience building RAG applications or pipelines.
- Strong working knowledge of few-shot, one-shot, and chain-of-thought prompt engineering.
- A solid understanding of LLM behavior and comfort using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
- Strong understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Comfort working in Agile teams and delivery processes.
- Preferred qualifications include Python for AI agent logic and MCP development, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, agent frameworks, LLM SDKs, vector databases, and prior technical leadership or mentorship experience.
