Responsibilities
- Deliver increased automation to the trading desk.
- Expand electronic trading capabilities by creating and extending algorithms.
- Own projects end to end, from requirements gathering through rollout.
- Lead the development of new ideas and policies within the area.
- Analyze multiple sets of information and create summaries for stakeholders.
- Work closely with clients, sales, trading, and technology teams.
- Maintain and develop software across new and legacy systems.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional Java development experience.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and a combination of new and legacy systems.
- Basic understanding of fixed-income products and ability to communicate with traders.
- Good knowledge of microservices architecture and SQL/relational databases.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a problem-solving and results-focused approach.
- Some experience working with AI agents.
- Knowledge of French and English is required.
- Scala and Python knowledge and finance-industry experience are nice-to-have qualifications.
