Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex Salesforce applications and integrations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ.
- Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ components, including Product Rules, Price Rules, Discount Schedules, Bundles, and QCP.
- Design, prototype, implement, and enhance Salesforce CPQ Quote-to-Contract solutions.
- Integrate CPQ with external systems including ERP platforms, Zuora, NetSuite, Ironclad, and Veles.
- Evaluate technical solutions and design trade-offs with technical teams, functional teams, business analysts, administrators, and go-to-market teams.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, deployments, release management, and post-production support.
- Improve the reliability and maturity of business systems platforms and support Salesforce release, pipeline management, and CI/CD processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience architecting and designing full-stack solutions using Force.com technologies.
- At least 5 years of Salesforce CPQ development experience, including full-cycle implementations involving configuration and customization.
- Experience with Flow, Apex triggers and controllers, Lightning Aura/LWC, bulk data patterns, governor limits, metadata APIs, SOQL, batch and future patterns, outbound messaging, and web services.
- Proficiency in product configuration, bundles, complex pricing rules and sequences, quote configurator plugins, Advanced Approvals, and Salesforce CPQ APIs.
- Expertise in subscription-based licensing, amendments, extensions, renewals, and Salesforce Revenue Cloud.
- Understanding of sales and billing processes involving subscriptions, renewals, amendments, order orchestration, provisioning, activation, revenue recognition, and taxation.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and API security.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and technologies such as Copado, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred certifications include Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and Salesforce Platform Developer I and II.
- Strong software design and implementation, problem-solving, organizational, attention-to-detail, and time-management skills.
