Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level Java applications using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Write efficient SQL queries, tune database interactions, and develop multithreaded applications for concurrent operations.
- Apply test-driven development and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Build and optimize trading, risk management, and settlement systems for performance and low latency.
- Translate financial domain requirements into technical specifications with business analysts and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to support seamless delivery.
- Identify optimization opportunities and drive application performance improvements.
Requirements
- 3-15 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Experience with SQL, database performance tuning, test-driven development, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Experience with multithreading, concurrent programming, and low-latency systems.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architectural principles.
- Completed bachelor's degree.
- Investment banking or financial services experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with FIX protocol, trading platforms, or risk management systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ is preferred.
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools is preferred.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
