Responsibilities
- Own software solutions deployed to customers.
- Write code to improve products and scale mission capabilities to additional customers.
- Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
- Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
- Triage issues, determine root causes, and coordinate next steps.
- Partner with end users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience and engineering constraints.
- Travel up to 50% to Asia Pacific to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.
Requirements
- Be willing to travel up to 50% to Asia Pacific.
- Have fluent Mandarin language skills.
- Have a strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or physics.
- Have experience with programming languages such as Go, Rust, or Python.
- Have experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Have experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Be able to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
- Have a desire to work on critical software with real-world impact.
- Preferred: 4+ years of professional industry experience.
- Preferred: experience developing software or hardware for safety-critical functionality.
- Preferred: familiarity with distributed communication networks and message standards.
