Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and ship conversational, agentic console experiences for CloudFront, WAF, and Shield.
- Build agent experience skills, protocols, and tooling that enable AI agents to safely configure, observe, and optimize edge infrastructure.
- Architect autonomous planning systems for validated, multi-service infrastructure operations at global scale.
- Develop proactive detection and recommendation engines for security gaps, performance issues, and configuration drift.
- Integrate natural-language interactions with real-time operational telemetry.
- Develop Terraform modules and CDK patterns for infrastructure-as-code workflows.
- Own features from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production operation.
- Establish engineering patterns, testing strategies, runbooks, and architectural standards.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance.
- Participate in on-call rotation and resolve production issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years building complex software systems.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML systems, LLM integration, agent architectures, MCP, function calling, autonomous agent frameworks, or AI orchestration patterns.
- Preferred: experience building distributed systems at scale and knowledge of CDN, networking, or security infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience with Terraform, CDK, automated deployment pipelines, React, and TypeScript.
- Preferred: strong communication skills and ability to drive technical alignment across teams.
