Responsibilities
- Architect, build, maintain, and secure scalable Java backend services and APIs.
- Develop and deploy microservices using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Design database schemas, optimize queries, and integrate relational and non-relational databases.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines for automated and reliable software delivery.
- Write unit, integration, and contract tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Collaborate with product managers, system architects, and frontend engineers to deliver technical solutions.
- Integrate LLM APIs into Java applications for summarization, semantic search, and automated classification.
- Build RAG pipelines and agentic workflows using LangChain4j or Spring AI.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java, including concurrency, multithreading, and object-oriented design patterns.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Experience designing and consuming web services and working with SQL, databases, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Proficiency with Git and Maven or Gradle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience focused on Java backend systems.
- Demonstrated interest or project experience involving generative AI or LLM integration.
- Preferred experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ; RAG applications or chatbots; and Python.
