Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, enhance, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications and services.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, production support, and modernization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services using relational and cloud-based databases.
- Troubleshoot application issues, performance bottlenecks, production incidents, and complex design problems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and global onsite and offshore development teams.
- Perform code reviews and follow coding standards, security practices, and development guidelines.
- Support deployment activities, infrastructure changes, disaster recovery planning, root cause analysis, and problem management.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, mentoring, and assistance to application support and development team members.
Requirements
- Requires a relevant degree in IT or Computer Science, a technical certification, or equivalent experience.
- Requires 6 to 12 years of experience in software development and support.
- Experience with Java or other relevant programming languages and with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and Snowflake.
- Experience with application development, underlying infrastructure elements, and current development processes and tools.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse, globally distributed teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite five days per week on the 1:00–10:00 PM IST shift.
