Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of financial services software using enterprise Java, Kotlin, Angular, RDBMS, and modern web technologies.
- Implement cloud-based development practices with AWS Lambda, ECS, Fargate, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Translate product requirements into code deliverables for financial applications.
- Take ownership of assigned modules, understand system architecture, and drive projects through completion.
- Execute proof-of-concepts, document results, and present findings for stakeholder review.
- Validate solutions against technical requirements and business needs.
- Establish continuous deployment practices and work with SQA teams on unit and automated testing.
- Develop tools to automate data-operation management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of overall software development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on machine learning or AI application development experience delivering production-grade solutions.
- Strong Core Java/J2EE and Python product-development experience.
- Strong Python programming and API development experience with FastAPI or Flask.
- Excellent RDBMS knowledge and PL/SQL proficiency, with experience using Oracle 11 or SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, RESTful web services, object-oriented design patterns, and large-scale distributed APIs.
- Hands-on AWS AI experience with AgentCore, Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.
- Practical experience with LLMs, generative AI frameworks, and RAG architectures, including embeddings, document chunking, retrieval, and response synthesis.
- Experience with cloud technologies, container platforms, continuous integration and delivery, and Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Capital markets knowledge, full-stack experience, and additional AWS experience are preferred.
