Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Build and deploy containerized applications on AWS, Azure, or OpenShift using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Integrate services into CI/CD pipelines and improve automation, deployment speed, and reliability.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to security and performance standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders on technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of Java development experience, including Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or OpenShift.
- Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and scalable architecture.
- Preferred experience with Splunk or Dynatrace monitoring and observability tools, GitHub Copilot, Agile environments, and Angular.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing.
