Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scoped features across user interfaces, backend services, and APIs with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Build AI-powered experiences for knowledge discovery, analytics, and workflow automation.
- Integrate AI services and enterprise APIs using established security, human-review, and error-handling patterns.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while reviewing generated outputs.
- Evaluate AI features with representative tasks, identify inaccurate or unexpected results, and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers and product partners on requirements, progress updates, code reviews, and feedback.
- Monitor and troubleshoot applications while developing familiarity with production systems and reliable software delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years of software development experience, with internships and co-ops counting toward the requirement.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or TypeScript, plus familiarity with APIs and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, version control, testing, and debugging.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools and reviewing, testing, and improving generated code.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered systems through work, coursework, or personal projects.
- Awareness of AI limitations, output validation, and protection of sensitive information.
- Ability to complete well-defined tasks with guidance, ask clear questions, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with teammates.
- Preferred experience includes React and TypeScript or a comparable frontend framework, language model APIs, AI-powered applications, workflow automation, prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, AI-response evaluation, cloud platforms, containers, application monitoring, data processing, or analytics.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $92,500–$160,000.
- Eligible positions may receive 401(k), new-hire and annual equity grants, and annual bonuses for eligible C08+ positions.
