Base Salary
$106k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and support projects that improve Atlas Search scalability for large workloads.
- Develop and maintain distributed systems software for search index lifecycle management, including ingestion, building, partitioning, performance, availability, and backups.
- Contribute to system architecture, technical decisions, and the team roadmap.
- Review code and project designs and collaborate closely with team members.
- Lead projects and take ownership of subsystems through design, implementation, and production maintenance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining backend software in a complex codebase.
- Experience developing distributed systems and multithreaded applications.
- Experience with at least one modern statically typed programming language and interest in working with Java.
- Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
- Demonstrated ownership from initial design through production maintenance and enthusiasm for learning and collaboration.
