Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the complex TradeSpex product suite.
- Contribute to feature development and define user-experience solutions with product teams and stakeholders.
- Design and deliver high-quality software within committed deadlines.
- Provide L3 production and user support, application testing, and maintenance releases.
- Perform incident ownership, root-cause analysis, fixes, and system-stability improvements.
- Collaborate with development and support teams across regions and act as a technical and functional contact for global queries.
- Own software delivery across development, testing, documentation, and support.
- Provide progress updates to managers and stakeholders and learn applications maintained by peer groups.
Requirements
- Strong Core Java, MS SQL or similar database, SQL, and UNIX skills.
- Very strong Java multithreading knowledge, including concurrency, synchronization, and memory management.
- Strong knowledge and experience with microservices-based architecture.
- Experience with React.js or Angular and application performance management.
- Experience with DevOps tooling including CI/CD, GitLab, and Nexus.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and quick-learning approach.
- Willingness to learn React.js and other technologies as required and develop into a full-stack developer.
- Investment banking or capital-markets knowledge and equity trading experience, especially compliance-related issues, are desirable.
