Base Salary
$175k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver complex features in Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
- Lead efforts to address technical debt and improve system reliability.
- Influence and evolve system architecture and design for future needs.
- Set high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Drive improvements to internal tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
- Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making within the team.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technical challenges.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape feature direction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Ruby on Rails and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Redis, PostgreSQL, and Sidekiq in production.
- Experience across the full stack, including front-end and back-end.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI to enhance product features.
- Ability to handle complex tasks and ambiguous problems independently.
- Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to mentorship.
- Must reside and work permanently in the U.S.
