Base Salary
$175k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure end-to-end.
- Solve technical challenges involving distributed systems, scaling, concurrency, and performance.
- Integrate, deploy, serve, and scale large generative AI models in production.
- Instrument, experiment, and iterate on production systems and product quality.
- Design and operate platform infrastructure, third-party integrations, storage systems, security, and internal APIs.
- Partner with product, design, client, and AI teams to deliver reliable systems and product experiences.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional industry experience.
- Demonstrated success shipping high-impact systems or products in production.
- Strong problem-solving fundamentals and ability to learn quickly.
- Strong engineering judgment, practicality, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and scope and deliver projects end-to-end.
- Preferred: extensive experience with LLMs and generative media models.
- Preferred: experience as a startup founder or early engineer at a startup.
- Preferred: collaborative, grounded approach and willingness to contribute broadly.
