Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical guidance to engineering squads or pods and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Design and develop complex software architectures focused on scalability, maintainability, performance, and long-term technology strategy.
- Influence architectural decisions, technical strategy, and engineering roadmaps.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, business leaders, engineering teams, and SRE teams to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior and senior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
- Advocate for secure coding, testing, delivery, and software development best practices.
- Drive adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies across engineering projects.
- Monitor post-implementation system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop tools and automation scripts to streamline operational and deployment tasks.
- Partner with SRE teams to optimize infrastructure, design fault-tolerant systems, and maintain SLA.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
- Promote autonomous work practices and serve as a Spin Culture Ambassador.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience delivering scalable, high-performance applications.
- Advanced expertise with .NET, Java, TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js.
- Deep understanding of containerized development, microservices architecture, and REST API consumption.
- Experience with modular architectures, reusable components, and superapps.
- Advanced knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools including GitHub, GitHub Actions, SonarCloud, Terraform, and Docker.
- Ability to influence technical strategy and contribute to architectural roadmaps.
- Practical experience with TDD, ATDD, and BDD methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Expertise in secure development practices and SAST, DAST, and MAST tools.
- Strong communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and willingness to learn new technologies in Spin’s tech stack.
