Responsibilities

  • Lead system integration, functional, regression, automation, API, database, performance, load, and mobile testing initiatives.
  • Define test strategies, methodologies, test plans, and test data management approaches.
  • Develop user journey-based testing scenarios for complex backend integrations.
  • Lead and mentor offshore QA teams and promote quality best practices.
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and Java.
  • Drive test automation adoption to accelerate regression testing.
  • Manage defects, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Track and report testing progress using JIRA and Zephyr.
  • Present testing status, quality metrics, and outcomes to leadership.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of QA/Test Lead experience across application and backend integration testing.
  • 6+ years of experience leading automation testing teams using open-source tools.
  • Strong Selenium automation experience using Java.
  • Expertise in API, database, regression, mobile, performance, and load testing.
  • Experience creating user journey-driven test scenarios and managing test data.
  • Experience managing offshore QA teams.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA, and Zephyr.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Goal-oriented approach with a strong focus on product quality and business outcomes.
