Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve software delivery processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and implement self-healing automation.
- Lead automation design and strategy to improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Translate business goals into technical roadmaps for infrastructure and deployment improvements.
- Evaluate technology trends and recommend improvements, cost savings, and feature enhancements.
- Mentor and train junior and mid-level engineers.
- Drive adoption of engineering best practices and automation across the organization.
- Provide technical leadership and support to development and IT teams.
Requirements
- Six or more years of experience in the listed cloud engineering, automation, and infrastructure areas.
- Mastery of automation tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong programming concepts and software design architecture knowledge in one or more languages.
- Extensive experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Extensive knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, or the ELK stack.
- Strong cloud infrastructure experience and certifications with OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
