Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions and applied AI/ML or agentic systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools to improve coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and delivery quality.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets, create visualizations and reporting, and use identified patterns to improve software applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Validate AI-generated outputs through peer review, automated testing, secure coding standards, and responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied AI/ML engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, and production-level code maintenance.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI.
- Proficiency with large datasets and data science, plus understanding of AI/ML algorithms, AI agents, and natural language processing.
- Experience deploying and scaling AI/ML models on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, security, and data sensitivity.
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle, application resiliency, security, and agile development practices.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies.
