
Solution Architect/Senior Solution Architect- Marketing Cloud Next
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Lead functional discovery workshops with client marketing operations, CRM, data, compliance, and digital teams.
- Own Marketing Cloud Next solution blueprints covering Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, and Data Cloud integration.
- Define migration strategy, wave sequencing, subscriber data transformation, consent mapping, journey migration priorities, cutover plans, and business validation criteria.
- Design consent and compliance architecture supporting GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and POPI obligations.
- Lead Data Cloud integration design covering unified profiles, data streams, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation targets.
- Manage scope, functional design documentation, phase-gate sign-off, quality governance, UAT planning, defect triage, and post-migration business equivalence.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client marketing technology, digital, CRM, data, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.
- Advise on email deliverability, including IP warm-up, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, sender reputation, and inbox placement.
- Create reusable migration factory templates, workshop guides, assessment frameworks, consent blueprints, and migration documents.
- Support pre-sales activities including proposals, scope estimation, resource planning, and solution presentations.
Requirements
- 8–14 years of experience in marketing technology, CRM, and Salesforce platform consulting.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience and at least 2 end-to-end MCN or SFMC implementations or migrations in a solution design or architecture role.
- At least 3 years of client-facing advisory experience owning solution design and trusted-advisor relationships on enterprise marketing transformation programs.
- Strong functional knowledge of the Marketing Cloud Next platform, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, and Contact Builder.
- Solid Salesforce Data Cloud architecture knowledge covering data streams, unified profiles, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation.
- Deep knowledge of subscriber data models, consent migration, suppression lists, and compliance requirements.
- Working knowledge of at least one legacy marketing platform, such as Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or legacy Salesforce Marketing Cloud Classic.
- Experience running discovery workshops, translating requirements into solution blueprints, and developing migration approach documents.
- Understanding of Marketing Cloud Connect, REST/SOAP MC APIs, API-triggered sends, event-driven messaging, Salesforce CRM, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Flows, and permission sets.
- Expertise in functional design documents, process maps, data mapping specifications, migration plans, and UAT scripts.
- Required certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, and Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant.
- Preferred qualifications include AMPscript or SSJS experience, Marketing Cloud Intelligence, WhatsApp, Push, SMS, LINE, Interaction Studio, Marketing Cloud Personalization, Snowflake, Databricks, Loyalty Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Responsys, Acoustic Campaign, Braze, Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, Salesforce AI Associate, and Salesforce Well-Architected Framework knowledge.
- Experience working alongside a Technical Architect while owning functional design and client advisory responsibilities.
