Senior Software Engineer - DevOps Engineer

- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and technical deliverables.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology projects.
- Build, maintain, enhance, and support DevOps pipelines and onboarding activities.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and engineer solutions for production game plans.
- Perform bug fixes and enhancements to operational scripts.
- Design and operate container platforms.
- Ensure high availability, observability, and SLA compliance.
- Lead root-cause analysis, production incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve technical challenges.
- Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and guide less experienced staff.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness.
- Familiarity with Maven and Gradle.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps controls including SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Qualys.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift Container Platform.
- Experience with Splunk, ELK, or Grafana for availability and observability.
- Scripting skills in Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Terraform and Ansible is preferred.
- Knowledge of Jira and ServiceNow for change requests and incidents is preferred.
- Cloud skills or certification are preferred.
- Experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar business intelligence tools is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
