Responsibilities

  • Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and technical deliverables.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology projects.
  • Build, maintain, enhance, and support DevOps pipelines and onboarding activities.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks and engineer solutions for production game plans.
  • Perform bug fixes and enhancements to operational scripts.
  • Design and operate container platforms.
  • Ensure high availability, observability, and SLA compliance.
  • Lead root-cause analysis, production incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve technical challenges.
  • Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and guide less experienced staff.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness.
  • Familiarity with Maven and Gradle.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps controls including SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Qualys.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift Container Platform.
  • Experience with Splunk, ELK, or Grafana for availability and observability.
  • Scripting skills in Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of Terraform and Ansible is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Jira and ServiceNow for change requests and incidents is preferred.
  • Cloud skills or certification are preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar business intelligence tools is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
