Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of scalable and robust full-stack applications using Java, Python, and Angular.
- Apply AI models, prompt engineering techniques, the OpenAI API, MCP, and AI coding tools.
- Design and develop applications using Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and test-driven development.
- Create dynamic and responsive Angular front-end applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners, and subject matter experts to define requirements and deliver features and strategic data solutions.
- Execute the full software development lifecycle while applying security, privacy, quality assurance, and coding best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.
- Address security vulnerabilities including SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 10 or more years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, the Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in Angular front-end development.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles, coding best practices, Agile development, unit testing frameworks, and test-driven development.
- Knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, and application engine deployments.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, independent-working, collaboration, execution, and continuous-learning skills.
