Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to design and maintain high-performance microservices.
- Optimize performance and usability using cutting-edge technologies.
- Work with cross-functional teams across Toast.
- Advocate for best coding practices within the team.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance development workflows and productivity.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in designing and implementing backend services using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies.
- Understanding of backend architecture patterns, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Experience developing scalable, secure, and performant backend systems.
- Familiarity with testing principles, including unit and integration testing.
