Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for various testing types.
- Create and enhance automated test scripts for critical product workflows.
- Analyze product requirements and technical specifications to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
- Validate new features and enhancements across web, mobile, APIs, and platform applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve test strategies.
- Maintain test documentation and traceability between requirements and test coverage.
- Support API, database, and end-to-end testing as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.
- Mentor junior test engineers on best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing of web applications.
- Hands-on experience with frontend (UI) and backend (API/database) testing.
- Strong expertise in test automation using tools like Selenium and Playwright.
- Solid working knowledge in Core Java and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proficiency in using Postman for API testing.
- Ability to write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Experience with JIRA or other test management platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
