Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of GCP-based cloud solutions across one or more workstreams.
- Lead teams in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud-native applications.
- Translate architectural decisions into implementation plans and support cloud migration and modernization efforts.
- Develop AI/ML, Digital Twin, and simulation workloads using GCP AI services and NVIDIA Omniverse.
- Implement and maintain batch, streaming, and real-time data pipelines.
- Develop integrations across cloud services, IoT, ERP, MES, and CAD/PLM platforms.
- Enforce cloud governance, security, compliance, monitoring, disaster recovery, high availability, and FinOps practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on GCP, DevSecOps, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required; the posting also describes 6–8 years of overall IT experience including significant solution or application architecture experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, with 15 years of full-time education stated.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, cloud architecture patterns, GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, App Engine, and Cloud Functions.
- Experience with data lakes, lakehouse architecture, and batch and real-time data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
- Working knowledge of BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Vertex AI.
- Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, cloud security, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Experience with API management, microservices, event-driven architecture, and containerization.
- NVIDIA Omniverse experience, including OV Kit SDK, Nucleus, Isaac SIM, or OV Extensions, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Digital Twin, Industrial Metaverse, real-time 3D simulation, or Physical AI platforms is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, problem-solving, analytical, and distributed-team skills.
- Preferred certifications include Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Data Engineer, and NVIDIA Omniverse Certified Professional.
- Willingness to travel internationally based on project requirements.
