Responsibilities

  • Design highly available, scalable, robust, and observable services for OneLake and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
  • Own end-to-end development, observability, quality, testing, and production readiness for services.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, external organization, and partner teams.
  • Drive design reviews, improve code quality, and strengthen operational excellence.
  • Mentor and guide engineers while promoting collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Support customer-focused feature development, partner onboarding, and strategic relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience coding in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

  • The typical base pay range is CAD $85,800–$169,300 per year across Canada.
  • The position is open for at least five days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
