Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions for the Global Collateral Engineering team.
- Collaborate with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements.
- Analyze information and recommend solutions to business and technical issues.
- Coordinate coding, unit testing, implementation, and solution documentation.
- Ensure application performance targets are achieved.
- Participate in team discussions and provide subject-matter guidance and expert opinions.
- Follow BNY’s standard development methodology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java 8 or higher and front-end UI technologies.
- Experience with Core JavaScript, Angular 11 or higher, JavaScript frameworks, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience with the Spring Framework and proficiency with Spring Boot.
- Strong coding and troubleshooting experience with REST APIs.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with SDLC, DevOps processes, CI/CD tools, and Git.
- Understanding of monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and Moogsoft.
- Knowledge of Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, attention-to-detail, learning, and independent-work skills.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.
