Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Drive software development lifecycle activities from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and documentation.
- Support a vendor application used for payment processing.
- Configure and deploy applications using WebSphere, manage lower environments, and support production support teams.
- Translate user needs into technical specifications and facilitate technical requirements.
- Develop, test, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain Java-based software applications.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and perform application integration.
- Handle incidents, problem management, root cause analysis, and fault remediation.
- Ensure code and configurations meet security, logging, error handling, performance, and other non-functional requirements.
- Evaluate new technologies and assess upstream, downstream, process, data, and risk impacts.
- Follow release management and version-control processes and provide technical consulting and support.
Requirements
- Typically 5–7+ years of relevant on-the-job experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Java programming.
- Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Deep understanding of MQ servers, WebSphere, and Linux servers.
- Experience handling incidents, problem management, and root cause analysis for Java-based applications.
- Knowledge of application integration, test-driven development, system development lifecycle, troubleshooting, and system and technology integration.
- Deep technical knowledge gained through extensive education and business experience, with leadership capability.
