Responsibilities
- Analyze client needs and functional requirements in the context of CPQ projects.
- Define scalable architectures for complex rule engines and guided selling.
- Own end-to-end global SAP CPQ solution architecture across product configuration, pricing, quoting, BOM, and approvals.
- Architect integrations with SAP ERP/S/4HANA, SAP C4C, CRM, Commerce, and CPI/APIs.
- Drive advanced CPQ scripting standards using IronPython and ensure pricing and configuration logic is replicated across interconnected systems.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing CPQ expert in workshops and governance activities.
- Coordinate requirements, schedules, activities, application development, UAT, and production rollouts.
- Define design methodologies, toolsets, technologies, patterns, and frameworks for solution delivery.
- Create and validate work breakdown structures and effort estimates for modules and tasks.
- Troubleshoot complex bugs and resolve issues arising during code and design reviews.
- Provide constructive feedback, set expectations, and mentor and upskill CPQ consultants and technical developers.
Requirements
- 9+ years of total experience.
- Experience as an SAP CPQ Solution Architect or CPQ Technical Architect.
- Experience leading global CPQ design and delivery in customer-facing environments.
- Multiple SAP CPQ rollouts and deep Quote-to-Cash expertise.
- Strong SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer) background.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
