Cloud Engineer/ DevOps
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Deploy and maintain highly available demo, proof-of-concept, and workshop environments across multi-cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Develop infrastructure automation frameworks using Terraform, Ansible, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Establish availability and performance SLAs and resolve infrastructure issues using Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, and ITIL Incident Management practices.
- Implement FinOps strategies to optimize cloud spending.
- Automate secure deployments and apply vulnerability remediation, patch management, and access-control best practices.
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Product Specialists, Solution Architects, Cloud Operations, and sales executives.
- Create technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or data engineering, ideally in technical sales, presales, or customer-facing environments.
- B.Tech, B.E., or equivalent technical degree.
- Hands-on experience with at least two major cloud platforms among AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus Terraform and Ansible.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and secure CI/CD automation pipelines.
- Strong Python and Shell scripting skills and advanced administration of Linux, including Red Hat and Ubuntu, and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, relational databases, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, and Glue.
- Exposure to Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini, and large language models for productivity workflows.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Informatica IDMC, PowerCenter, IDQ, or MDM, and relevant cloud or AI certifications.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
