Base Salary
$145k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize software for data collection agents running across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Develop and maintain backend features supporting hundreds of thousands of Edge nodes across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with UX designers, Product Managers, and engineers to translate requirements into high-performance user experiences.
- Own development from design and implementation through testing and maintenance.
- Create automated tests and comprehensive test plans for reliable product features.
- Help maintain and support SaaS products, including periodic 24x7 on-call rotations.
- Participate in stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of operating-system fundamentals, including memory management, CPU architecture and scheduling, filesystems, process lifecycles, and networking.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Professional software development experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience with assertion frameworks and tools for automated regression testing, such as Mocha.
- Experience with data-intensive applications and/or data stream processing.
- Ability to work remotely across time zones.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate feature delivery while maintaining quality.
