Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver new services and complex enterprise-wide initiatives spanning multiple services and programs.
- Drive architectural designs covering dependent services, service interactions, policies, and regulatory needs.
- Lead prototypes and proofs of concept for new technologies, application frameworks, and design patterns.
- Improve software engineering craftsmanship, productivity, quality, and technology policy compliance.
- Lead architecture reviews, resolve enterprise-wide technical challenges, and identify cross-team synergies and reuse opportunities.
- Mentor and coach software engineers, engineering leads, and Principal Engineers across the enterprise.
- Conduct technical interviews and assist people managers with hiring and performance evaluation processes.
- Deliver public speaking engagements and publish technical white papers and blogs.
- Engage with external technical communities and contribute to technology strategy and standards.
Requirements
- Deep, current, hands-on software engineering experience in architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, software design, performance analysis, networking, and mathematics for computer science.
- Recognized technical leadership supported by strong communication and technical skills.
- Passion for new technology and the ability to evaluate it objectively and form well-supported opinions.
