Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java services that collect, process, and distribute operational events.
- Create APIs, subscriptions, and integration capabilities for customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Design, deploy, and operate scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Contribute to architecture, technical direction, design discussions, roadmap input, and technical strategy.
- Participate in production support and continuous improvement for a business-critical event platform.
Requirements
- Experience building backend systems in Java and delivering solutions from idea through production.
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating scalable solutions on AWS.
- Experience with event-driven, distributed, and integration-heavy systems, including strong API design skills.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.
- Ability to simplify complex technical problems, communicate clearly, and take ownership of outcomes.
- Preferred experience with Kotlin, Go, Kafka, SNS/SQS, EventBridge, SaaS platforms, IoT, telemetry, or operational data platforms.
