Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality C++ applications.
- Own complex features end to end.
- Write efficient, documented, and maintainable code using modern C++ standards.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions and contribute to technical direction.
- Debug and resolve complex performance, memory, and concurrency issues.
- Review code and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Collaborate with product, QA, infrastructure, DevOps, and support teams.
Requirements
- Extensive experience writing multithreaded C++ applications and working with relational databases.
- Experience with multi-tier enterprise systems containing high-frequency messaging elements.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Excellent knowledge of development and build tools such as Git, TeamCity, and GitLab.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and principles.
- Experience with one or more scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, ksh, bash, or sh.
- Full-lifecycle development experience on at least one large commercial system.
- Significant development experience with high-frequency trading or pricing systems is ideal.
- English is required; Czech is an advantage.
