Base Salary
$158k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement datapath features for load balancing, firewall rules, and L7 protocol implementations
- Apply C programming, data structures, and algorithms to build high-performance systems
- Independently drive moderately complex projects from conception through deployment
- Use networking protocol and service expertise in DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS
- Use Unix or Linux knowledge to optimize networking and security applications
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building large-scale commercial networking and security applications
- Proficiency in C or C++
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Working experience with Linux, Unix, or similar operating systems
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Curiosity about and demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflows and problem-solving
- Preferred: exposure to AI-assisted software development tools and workflows
- Preferred: advanced knowledge of DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS
