Responsibilities
- Take full technical ownership of specific regional markets for mobile KYC and compliance implementation.
- Make independent engineering decisions based on business context and regulatory needs.
- Build and maintain mobile onboarding features such as document verification and facial recognition.
- Collaborate with regional leaders and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate and optimize third-party KYC SDKs and services while managing performance and security.
- Ensure compliance with local and international privacy regulations regarding mobile data flows.
- Influence mobile architecture decisions focusing on modularity and maintainability.
- Identify and resolve production issues and technical risks related to compliance flows.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to a culture of high engineering standards.
- Apply AI tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of native Android development experience, preferably with secure or compliance-sensitive features.
- Experience using AI tools in engineering workflows.
- Proven ability to independently drive technical solutions end-to-end.
- Strong experience integrating camera and biometric SDKs into mobile apps.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of mobile platform capabilities and secure data handling.
- Ability to balance speed, quality, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
