Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable end-to-end banking solutions using the Avaloq platform.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Lead complex solution implementation projects from design through deployment.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and quality assurance professionals on solution roadmaps.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct solution reviews and identify optimization and improvement opportunities.
- Manage stakeholder communications and present technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Customize and configure Avaloq modules for client and organizational requirements.
- Document solution architectures, design decisions, and implementation approaches.
- Stay current with Avaloq platform updates and banking industry trends.
- Support pre-sales activities with technical expertise and solution recommendations.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience implementing and configuring the Avaloq platform.
- Proven expertise in banking and financial services solution architecture.
- Experience managing complex solution implementations from design through deployment.
- Proficiency in system integration, APIs, and data management in banking environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Preferred: Avaloq certification or formal training credentials.
- Preferred: experience leading technical teams or mentoring junior architects.
- Preferred: change management and organizational transformation experience.
- Preferred: experience with multiple banking system implementations and migrations.
- German-speaking ability is a nice-to-have qualification.
